These earrings are indeed made out of sugar combined with different types of resins and pigments, the pin is in sterling silver (nickel free). They are all unique pieces, there aren't two identical pieces - this means that the pieces you will purchase might slightly change in size and shape compared to the ones depicted in this picture. However, in some cases you are able to choose whether you want bigger or smaller pieces. This material is stable yet still can result fragile - you will need to treat them with care. Don't drop or squeeze.
They are extremely light in weight - not waterproof and not edible. Although not waterproof, if you wear them while it is raining outside, a few drops of water won't affect them.
The material might shed some granules occasionally, but don't worry, it won't change the overall appearance of the piece.
